Today we would like to introduce our 080 free toll number service in South Korea

Firstly, what is 080 free toll number?
A service where allows recipient to be able to refuse in receiving text messages without any extra charge when sending advertiseable text messages through SureM (SuperM).

For advertising, public relations, marketing text messages or faxes are sent pursuant to Article 50 of the Information and Communication Network Act where the recipient shall be able to refuse immediate receipt without financial burden.

If client is unable to comply with the regulations there is penalty around 30,000,000 Korean Won.

SureM (SuperM) Sender ID for International Messaging

Today we would like to share information about Sender ID regulations of United Kingdom, United States, Australia and China

Firstly, what is Sender ID?
Source Address that is used before sending a message to be shown in the device.

When you are sending a message to Overseas, each of countries have their own Sender ID regulations.

There are countries supporting Sender ID in Numeric / Alpha, but there are countries randomly send it.

Example of the countries are:

China, Australia, United States: only allow random numeric for Sender ID. Client is not allowed to set their own dedicated SID in the device.

United Kingdom: allow Alpha (ex: SureM) and Numeric for Sender ID. What you set, is what you will receive in device.

MMS Service by SureM (SuperM)

SureM has been sending MMS towards China and surely, Korea for many years.

We are proud to say that SureM able to provide you high CR and quality for sending MMS.

In order to send MMS, there are conditions you should be aware of :

1) Korea MMS
a. Integrate by REST API
-> one message can support image up to 3 (three)
-> Image size : within 500kb
-> length 2,000 bytes (english) / 1,000 chars (korean)
b. Send via SureM websites (http://www.surem.co.kr, www.surem.com)
-> Image size should be compressed within 500kb
c. Send via X-Messenger
-> Image size should be compressed within 500kb
2) China MMS
-> Connect by REST API only
-> Image size should be within 80kb

SureM (SuperM) Definition of Messages

Today we would like to introduce about Messaging Services provided by SureM.

There are 3 types of messages:

1) SMS : means Short Message Service, 1~90 bytes length

2) LMS : means Long Message Service, 91~2,000 bytes length

3) MMS : means Multimedia Message Service, a message contain text message + multimedia (image)

In order to send messages to South Korea, you are required for :

1) Destination number

2) Sender ID

3) Message
