SureM (SuperM) How to Register a Sender ID in South Korea

We would like to introduce how to register a Sender ID in South Korea.

First of all,What does it mean by Pre register Sender ID?

It means that a system which is applied in order to prevent a fraud in Sender ID by verifying the user.

1. Verify phone number

-> allow up to 10 number

-> if the number is above 10, User must fill in the confirmation letter

2. Verify landline number

-> allow up to 10 number

-> if the number is above 10, User must fill in the confirmation letter

-> if landline number wants to be verified, it has to be through ARS service or send Korean Operator Number Registration Certificate to SureM

3. Third person register

-> Server sending user can register up to three times the number of users in the organizations/business

-> if exceeds the number, User must fill in the confirmation letter

SureM (SuperM) Korea Operator SPAM Filtering

Hello, this is SureM (SuperM).

Today we would like to introduce about SureM (SuperM) Korea Operator SPAM Filtering Service.

When you send traffic to Korea for event or promotional message, occasionally the result is delivered but not received in the handset.

This is because of additional service that is provided by KISA to filter SPAM traffic coming.

Operator are sending the SPAM messages to a filtering app and in this case you can download the corresponding carrier spam filtering app to check the message. 
Also, you can modify the corresponding text to allow receive its message.

SureM (SuperM) Korea Inbound Short Code Service

Today we would like to introduce Korea Inbound Short Code service.

First of all, Client who is located outside Korea is required to send messages with Sender ID to the country and most of them requires Korean local number format instead of prefix such as 009 or 00777.
From 2020, SureM (SuperM) has been providing short code number of 8 digits and allow to deliver to Korea operators (SKT, LG U+, KT)

Below is how to issue the number and how to use it.
* How to Issue
1) Send your email to intlsales@surem.com with format, amount of number, company name, usage purpose, template, use of SMS or 2 way
2) require 2-3 business days

* How to Use
1) Make a contract and connect with SureM (SuperM) by REST API or SMPP
2) Charged monthly- monthly fee : 30,000 KRW each issued number, cost for message : SMS 8 KRW / 2 way or MO 14 KRW

SureM (SuperM) Modification to Sender ID in South Korea

Hello, this is SureM (SuperM).

Today we would like to share information about how to respond the modification of Sender ID in South Korea.

If you found the Sender ID is “different” than the other messages you received, first step you could take is by raise a report to KISA (call 118) or by access homepage https://lnkd.in/grcfbgh)

Because there is voice phishing by changing number started “070” to “02” or “010” as Sender ID in South Korea.

Secondly, you can block the message by registering at https://lnkd.in/g8gZvwH or register the phishing Sender ID at the Korean Operator you use such as SKT / KT or LG U+
