Today we will talk about Sender ID pre registration in South Korea.
- What does it mean?
It means that only pre register Sender ID able to send the message according to Article 84-2 of the Telecommunications Business Act (Prohibition of false indications of telephone numbers and protection of users) take effect on October 16, 2015.
- There are three kinds of pre registration Sender ID in South Korea:
- Phone number authentication (OTP) : The one time password will be send to the registered phone number or Kakaotalk
- General authentication (ARS) : If you want to register specific office representative number such as 1588-4640, you will be able to receive the OTP through voice.
- Document inspection : You will be needed to send “Korean operator number registration certificate” to the account manager in order to register.
