SMPP?

The Short Message Peer-to-Peer (SMPP) is an open, industry standard protocol widely used in the telecommunication industry.

SMPP is desinged to provide a flexible data communication interface for the transfer of SMS messages between Short Message Service Centeres (SMSC), Routing Entities (RE), and SMS Application Systems (or External Short Messaging Entities (ESME)).

SMPP is an application protocol over TCP/IP, which allows fast and reliable delivery of SMS messages. The latest version of SMPP specification currently is 5.0 ( can be found at http://opensmpp.org/specs/smppv50.pdf ). At SureM, we support SMPP 3.4 and 5.0 so whichever protocol the customer prefers – we can easily modify the system or even customize it upon request.

What is API?

API (Application Programming Interface) is a specification that explains on how systems interact or integrate with each other.SureM provides API suitable for development environment of each client. The interface can be customized by needs of client. We provide best service to client with various ways of integration including HTTP/S and SMPP.

Key Features

  • API Specification Provision
  • No set-up fee/monthly fee
  • Delivery Report Provided

HTTP/S

Under HTTP/S, you can integrate your application to SureM using http protocol.

HTTP – Hyper Text Transfer ProtocolHTTPS – Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure Socket Layer
